Essential Functions

  • Help us show our best and highlight our legacy of successful work, as past performance continues to be an increasingly important factor in the success of Government proposals.
  • Write past performance sections/volumes for proposals
  • Follow the documented and approved Federal Sector Past Performance Proposal process
  • Work with Capture Managers (CM) and Proposal Managers (PM) to evaluate RFP requirements, identify the past performance proposal requirements, and create specifications for searches for past performance reference projects
  • Verify the quality of, and approvals for, potential references and maintain audit trail of of reference checks
  • Maintain close coordination with CM/PM and rest of proposal team as well as the manager of the Past Performance Office (PPO) and the PPO database administrator
  • Generate/distribute materials to collect data for proposals and ensure that the data gathered is properly captured and delivered to PPO data repositories
  • As appropriate, assist in the design, planning, and enhancement of PPO data repositories

Essential Knowledge

  • Federal procurement processes (RFPs, RFIs, etc.) and proposal-development activities
  • Basic information technology (IT) terminology and an understanding of how IT is applied to enable business solutions
  • Knowledge of CSC Federal Sector's business, organization, and clients preferred
  • Direct project experience in an IT or other technical environment preferred
  • Essential Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience. Must have relevant professional experience, including experience in preparing technical documentation or writing proposals (government contracting environment preferred).
