INTERNSHIPS – City of Fairfax
Assignment: Provide assistance to the City’s “Risk Management”
efforts.
• Develop a city-wide safety award program. Identify localities
that have existing safety programs; Develop implementation strategies
and write policy proposals for new procedures.
• Develop a safety newsletter containing information on safety topics
and human interest stories.
Number of interns: 1. Intern would report to the Director of Human Resources
(HR)
Applicant requirements: 60+ hours with a concentration involving risk
assessment, communication, or other related field.
