Events Management Intern
|
Purpose:We are looking for an energetic junior or senior student to assist in the planning and organization of internal and external business-related functions, symposiums, conferences, program events, banquets and VIP briefings, with particular emphasis on our 2006 National Convention in Washington, DC on May 11-13, 2006. Prefer someone who is available to work during the convention. The participating student earns three (3) credit hours towards graduation, plus the actual work experience and references only the American Red Cross can offer. Key Responsibilities • Willingness to support Red Cross Mission Relationships: •Work well with other Communication and Marketing staff and supervisors Qualifications: • Customer Service Skills Training: • Orientation to American Red Cross Appointed by Reports to or Partners with: Leslie Zeck and Office of Events Management Team Length of Appointment: Spring Term – 1-6/2006 Time Commitment: 10-15 Hours a week, Flexible shifts
