Special Projects Internship
at OAR of Fairfax County, Inc.

Primary Focus: Non-Fiction Writing, Proofreading, & Editing for Agency Publications
Activities:

  • Newsletter Preparation: writing, proofreading, editing, photography, layout. (Note: Must have experience using Page Maker.)
  • Annual Report Preparation: writing, proofreading, editing, layout
  • Public Information Publications (booklet, pamphlets, resources guides, etc.): some research and writing, proofreading, editing, layout

Candidate should be a self-starter and not require extensive supervision. Projects can be worked on off-site; however, the intern is expected to fully complete any projects undertaken.
