DEVELOPMENT/FUNDRASING OFFICE: BENEFIT VOLUNTEER INTERN NEEDED |
| A. Internship description: Intern will assist the Special Events Manager in all aspects of planning and executing the 14th Annual Arena Stage Benefit for Community Engagement (www.arenastage.org/events), which will be held on March 3, 2006. This will include attending Committee Meetings and taking minutes, researching/corresponding with vendors, building and updating invitation mailing list, assembling and mailing invitations, tracking and acknowledging ticket sales and donations, corresponding with VIP cast members to solicit and confirm participation and coordinate rehearsal schedule, working with Arena Stage Production to schedule rehearsal and day-of logistics, organizing staff volunteers, coordinating and supervising day-of activities, performing follow-up after the event, and other duties as required. Graduate or undergrad student. Non-profit/arts/events interest/experience preferable. Skills required: organization, attention to detail, comfort with interacting with a variety of people.
