Childhelp USA Children's Center of Virginia
Childhelp USA Children's Center of Virginia in Fairfax is seeking an intern for fundraising/public relations efforts. The intern would have an opportunity to put his or her writing skills to work on a wide variety of projects, including: a newsletter to donors; Letters of Inquiry to prospective funders; donor acknowledgement letters and stewardship reports; press releases on behalf of the Children's Center; and publicity for volunteer needs and an upcoming special event.

Childhelp USA Children's Center of Virginia is a 501(c)3 that provides intervention, treatment and therapy to child sexual abuse victims, as well as child abuse prevention and personal safety programs to children and adults in the National Capital Region. In its third year of operation, the Children's Center relies on the generosity of donors, corporations and private foundations for its operating and programmatic support.

We could very much use the assistance of a writer in our fundraising and public awareness efforts.

To discuss the internship, contact 703/208-1524 or email: RBoyle@ChildhelpUSA.org.
